COMPANY ESTABLISHED
Established by the late founder, Mr. Chua Chui Tham as a brick manufacturer.
1978
SWITCH TO MOSAICS
Started mosaic factory & marketed under the flagship brand Kimgres
1985
FACTORY EXPANSION
Started traditional double firing wall tile plant
1988
CERAMICA INDAH
Started single fast firing of floor tile plant under Ceramica Indah Sdn. Bhd.
1992
COMPANY LISTED
Kim Hin Industry Berhad listed on Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange
1993
FACTORY UPGRADE
Start of the Monoporosa plant
1994
CHINA OPERATIONS
Group ventured into China and set up its manufacturing plant & marketing team
1995
FURTHER EXPANSION
Started MIS factory, KF floor tile factory & third firing factory expansion. Acquired Rolnic Ceramic SDN BHD and renamed Kim Hin Ceramic (Seremban) Sdn Bhd.
